Lerato is in Grade R (kindergarten) at MCA this year. She is an absolute sweetheart, and we love having her at school! She loves doing puzzles, listening to stories, and giving hugs. Lerato is quite the talker. However, she is trying to control her chatty nature so that she pays attention and focuses on the day’s lessons. Lerato is learning English very quickly! She lives with her mother and four brothers and sisters. Unfortunately, Lerato’s father has never been a part of her life. Lerato’s family lives off of three small child grants, which are provided by the government. The family’s total income is only $110 a month, meaning that each family member lives on about 72 cents a day.
