Sandile has set herself up as the class princess. She loves to talk, but is trying her best to control it so she does not get into trouble. Sandile is very animated and incredibly bright. She is already quite proficient with English and catches on to everything very quickly.

Sandile is one one of two paying students, contributing a small monthly fee to participate in the school. However, these payments are proportionate to local salaries and thus do not cover the full cost of her education at MCA. MCA accepts paying students to help increase community acceptance of — and parental involvement in — the school.
