Angela has been in foster care since birth. Her foster mother Pinky took her in after she was abandoned at the hospital by her mother in 2005. Pinky is in the process of adopting Angela. She receives a grant from MCDC and works for MCDC as a Family Development Program worker.  Angela and Pinky live in a two-room house built by MCDC.
